Chris Davies has hired, managed or led over a thousand salespeople in his 30 year + career for corporations such as IBM, Sony, Toshiba and others.
In addition to his own remarkable sales record, over the years Chris's teams have delivered record breaking growth, won global awards and gone on to enjoy careers at CxO level.
He has learned the hard way that in order to sell services and products effectively, you need to be disciplined, systemised and take a brave approach with 'suspects' in order for them to become genuine prospects and clients
Selling is a 'Full Contact' occupation, for many that’s an uncomfortable feeling as the world seems to prefer indirect contact via mail and media. However what happens when you have to negotiate a sale? Without a system do you feel poorly treated by inconsiderate buyers? Provide unpaid consulting? Quote the ideal solution only to have it forced back in your face cheaper and referencing a previously unknown competitor? Or just simply ignored?
Nothing in life is guaranteed but there are ways to improve the odds when talking with clients, to feel OK knowing its the right time to walk away or accepting orders from prospects without the need for devious manipulating 'alternative closes' etc that we ourselves dislike so much when faced with the amateur salespeople.
